ABOUT ME
After starting my career as an early childhood educator, I have worked since 1998 at the intersection of education and health policy, practice, and programs. Central to my work is a commitment to working with my clients and their partners to co-construct work that meets their needs. This can include research; research translation; program planning, development, and evaluation; and materials development
In the fall of 2019 I completed my EdD from the University of Glasgow (Scotland), with my dissertation, The Role of Education Support Professionals in Promoting the Whole Child: A Capabilities Approach. My research for this work grew out of my previous work with the National Education Association Health Information Network (later known as NEA Healthy Futures).

I am passionate about projects where we can work together to support educators and families. For more about my work, visit the Services section.
